The conveyed medias in chemical industries usually have strong corrosion properties, which means that any wet ends must be made out of a corrosion resistant material, and a specially designed structure will prolong the pump's service life and economic benefits.
These corrosive mediums are classified into a variety of types, which is why we offer the following industrial pumps to satisfy the different medium and working condition requirements.
1. If the transported medias contain a high concentration of solids, we must take the possibility of blockage into consideration, as well as the corrosion resistance. An open impeller is an effective design to prevent blocks, as it allows for the conveyance of corrosive materials with a solid content of 35%. The materials for wet ends can also be customized according to customer requirements.
2. If the pump is used to convey strong base medias, we recommend a pump with FRP wet ends, because FRP features an outstanding resistance to alkaline materials.
3. When transporting strong acid mediums, fluoroplastics with resistance to acidic corrosion can be chosen for the pump wet ends.
